ST. PATRICK’S DAY IN THE LUNCHROOM
We will be having a fun day in the lunchroom on Thursday, March 18 in honor of St. Patrick’s Day (which is on March 17th). Byron Southwick will have an Irish display on the stage. There will be Irish music and the cooks are making a traditional Irish meal of Fish & Chips (fries) with delicious English Triffle for dessert. Please celebrate with us and wear green on March 18th!
KINDERGARTEN ROUND-UP
Kindergarten Round-up will be held on March 19 from 9:00 until 1:00. During the round-up, your child will be given vision, hearing, & speech assessments as well as a general pre-kindergarten assessment. Please note that it is very important that your child attends kindergarten round-up.If you did not get your child’s paperwork filled out during our Getting to Know You Day, you can do it while your child is participating in the assessment activities. Please call the school at 257-2580 to schedule an assessment time.
5th GRADE BOYS MATURATION
Our 5th grade boy’s maturation program has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 18 at 5:00 pm. This program is for 5th grade boys and a parent. Thanks for being patient with us while we rescheduled.
PHONE CALLS HOME& LOCAL PHONE NUMBERS
We have many students who have long distance contact numbers. This is very expensive for the school when these students call home. Please note that we will no longer allow students with long distance numbers to call home unless it is an emergency. We have a large number of students who need to call home after school to get a ride. School dismisses at 2:40 every day except Wednesday when we dismiss at 1:20. All students should be picked up within 5 minutes of that time. Please make sure your student has a ride and is picked up by that time. Also, we would appreciate having local contact numbers for all students. Local cell phone numbers for the Tremonton area are ones with any of the following prefixes: 279, 230, and 452. Thanks for your cooperation.
STUDENT ILLNESS
If your student shows any sign of illness – fever, vomiting, rash, diarrhea, mouth sores, infected eyes, sore throat, persistent cough, runny nose, thick mucus, etc., please keep them home from school. If your student has a fever, please keep them home until the fever is gone for 24 hours with no medication. We would like to keep our school as healthy as possible! |
