The fire drill and popsicles were a success today! We also did our first week of "Owlstanding Awards" for our students going above and beyond with our school rules of being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe. Keep working on your Owl 10 goals. North Park is the best! Gooo Owls!

Tara Stander is our new Music Teacher for grades K-5. She is going to do amazing things with our students. Welcome! "I'm a lucky wife and a mother to three wonderful children. I went to USU and received a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and have recently been learning more through BYU-I. I can often be found making up crazy songs, walking my dog, petting a cat while reading a good book, or admiring all sorts of animals with my daughter. "

This year we will have a STEM/Computer Science room where students will get to spend 30 minutes a week with their class. We are so excited for Emily Jolley to be teaching this class to all of our students K-5. "I love learning about new things. I enjoy crochet, gardening, music, a good book, & hiking with my family. I have four kids, two dogs, a husband and a ton houseplants that I love to care for. So excited to be a part of the new STEM & Computer Science program here at NorthPark!! "

"I have been teaching second grade for 3 years and am so excited to be here at Kindergarten. I love what we do! I have been married for 25 years, have five kids of my own, and one grandbaby. My family loves to garden, recreate and travel. I look forward to meeting you!" We are so excited to have Natalie Levi on our Kindergarten team!

"I am a Utah State University graduate as of December 2022! I love to travel, be outdoors, read, watch movies, do crafts, and cook. I have 2 pets- a cat and a new puppy! One of my favorite things I have ever done was when I worked at a sleep-away summer camp in Maine. I am so excited to be joining Box Elder School District and North Park Elementary!" Welcome to the 4th Grade team Brianna Gardner! We are thrilled to have you here.

We are so excited to have Abby Craig on our 5th grade team! She will do amazing. "I am originally from Logan. I graduated from Utah Tech in December. I love the outdoors and movies. I played soccer my entire life and played in college as a goalkeeper. I can’t wait to teach at North Park!"

"I have taught for 7 years (4th and 6th grade) I am excited to teach 5th grade at North Park. Originally from East Millcreek, Utah, I moved to Box Elder County 15 years ago with my husband who manages the Mantua State Fish Hatchery. I love to travel and have been to 42 of the 50 states. My hobbies include photography, reading and University of Utah athletics (GO UTES!) I have previously taught at ACYI and McKinley Elementary in Box Elder School District and James Madison Elementary in the Ogden School District." Welcome to North Park Cindy! Hello North Park! My name is Dax Sederholm and I am the new principal at North Park Elementary. I am so excited to be a part of this school and I can't wait to start meeting you all. I live here in Tremonton and I have 3 (almost 4) little girls. I have taught all the grades from 4th-7th and I loved each year I taught. Last year I was the assistant principal at Golden Spike Elementary. I love to do all things that involve being with my family, being outside, and playing all kinds of sports... so prepare to have some fun out at recess. I will be sending out information about all the fun things like back to school night, teacher assignments, etc. in the coming weeks. So, for now, continue to enjoy your summer and I will see you all in August!

Thank you everyone for your support of all our Grandparent's Days! It was such a pleasure to meet and talk with so many family members and participate with our students in folk dancing. A big shout out goes to Jessica Frehner, our BTS music, who put a lot of time and effort into teaching our North Park Owls the dance.

Due to continuing weather concerns, Box Elder School District will be going virtual today, February 27th, instead of the 2 hour delay. Please look for information to be coming from your child's teacher concerning school work.

Box Elder School District will be on a 2 hour delay start today, Monday February 27th due to current weather conditions. School will begin at 10:20 for North Park and breakfast will NOT be served. Please stay safe!

Thank you so much to our amazing first-grade teacher, Mindy Stuart, and her family for donating and serving over 600 slushies this afternoon, for our celebration of finishing the book, Upside Down Magic. What a great way to celebrate reading!
